Marie's House Orphanage
“The orphanage was a dream of over forty years of Michel and Marie Vital, founders of this ministry. By God’s grace, we have been able to make that dream a reality.”
Our Story
The ministry’s dream of an orphanage began with Pastor Michel Vital in 1971. When he purchased land in Gressier in 1975, his vision was clear: build a community center with a school, church, orphanage, and clinic.
The devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti left countless children without parents or homes, bringing the orphanage vision back to the forefront with urgent purpose. Construction was completed in 2014, and Marie’s House opened its doors.
Today, Marie’s House is home to 14 girls who receive loving Christian care in Gressier. We guide them day in and day out, providing stability, education, and hope for a better future.
