Schools

Educating the Next Generation

”Our mission is to educate children to improve their literacy and their ability to have a better life and future.”

Today, the Vital Foundation operates 4 schools in Haiti:

  • 2 Primary Schools
  • 2 Secondary Schools

These schools serve over 500 children, many of whom walk miles each day to receive an education. Our schools
are private—not supported by the government—and rely entirely on community contributions and donations.

The first school was established in 1976, just one year after Pastor Michel Vital purchased land in Gressier. What
began as a single primary school has grown into a network of four schools providing education from early childhood
through secondary levels.

Teachers serve on a volunteer basis, driven by faith and commitment to Haiti’s children. Many of the children in the
schools are vulnerable orphans who might otherwise have no access to education.

Poverty still grips many communities in Haiti—but together, we can change that. Your support can transform lives. Get in touch today and help drive meaningful, lasting impact.
